Insurance fraud investigation
Purpose description
In order to protect our interests, the interests of other insurance companies and the insurance collective, we process personal data about you as a representative of a company in order to investigate claims settlement cases where we suspect irregularities – so-called unclear insurance cases – in order to decide whether compensation should be paid, whether we should exercise our right of recourse and claim compensation from the party responsible or take other measures.
What information is processed and how?
Where we suspect irregularities in a claims settlement case, we will prepare an investigation case for the purpose of clarifying the insurance case. We process the data that has already been collected for the claim settlement and then carry out an in-depth investigation to eliminate the suspicions or have them confirmed.
The information processed in the in-depth investigation depends on the circumstances that need to be clarified. Among other things, our personal data processor with whom we sometimes collaborate in investigations of unclear insurance cases, whether your company or you have previously reported any claims. We may carry out inspections of reported damage and obtain testimonies to better understand a course of damage and its causes. If you are a contact person for a company and make a complaint against us on behalf of the company, we process your personal data to handle the complaint.

If you make a complaint against Agria on behalf of your company - either directly to us or to an authority - we process the information you provided in the complaint, your personal identity number, name, role in the company, contact details, time and date information and create a case in our case management system. We also process information about our response and the outcome of the complaint, such as whether or not we granted compensation to your company.
In the event that you contact us by phone or chat, we will verify your identity through e-identification if this is required for us to be able to process the case.
We may also process information about you and the company’s complaint in connection with committee proceedings and court hearings.

When we follow up the effect of our marketing activities, we produce statistics on how many customers have acted in the desired way as a result of a mailing or contact by telephone. We then process your contact details, which mailing you received, the time and date of the mailing and - in the case of e-mail mailings - whether you opened it and clicked on any links, including whether you have unsubscribed from further direct marketing.
When we follow up the sales results of our advisors/insurance agents’ individual advisory and sales activities, we process – in addition to information about the company you represent – your name, contact details, date and the purpose of the advisory and sales activities.
When we compile documentation for follow-up, we delete your personal data and only follow up on information that is linked to the company, such as whether new agreements have been signed or renewed.
