If you have submitted your information in the online form to calculate the price of an insurance policy, we may contact you to see if you need help or information about our products.
Furthermore, we process information about which marketing mailings you have already received from us. Provided that you have consented to cookies with your e-mail provider, we will monitor whether you have acted on an e-mail from us, such as opening it or clicking on a link.
When we make selections for marketing activities, we check whether you have opted out of addressed direct marketing in NIX Addressed or telemarketing in NIX telephone. If you are registered in these databases we will not send you marketing.

Inviting to and managing events
Purpose description
We process your personal data to send you invitations to physical or digital events that we organise, to manage your registration and attendance and to follow up on the event.
What information is processed and how?
We process your name and the contact details (address, e-mail address and/or telephone number) that you either provided to us or that we purchased from a public address provider in order to send invitations to events to you and others in the same target group.
We process the same data if you register for an event directly via our website, i.e. your name and contact details.
When we make selections for marketing activities, we check whether you have opted out of addressed direct marketing in NIX Addressed or telemarketing in NIX telephone; if you are registered in these databases we will not send you marketing.
When you choose to register for an event, we also process information about any choices you make about the event and about your participation. We may also process information about animals such as quantity and, if applicable, names.
In some cases, we use this information about you to contact you after the event in order to give you the opportunity to give us feedback about the event. Any feedback is compiled into statistics for the event.
If you provide information about food allergies or other health-related information, we also process this data in order to meet your needs.
When registering participation in a children's event (competition) for your child, we also process information about your child's name, video material and whether the participant is under 13 years of age. In the event that your child is under 13 years of age, you must complete the information for registration for the event and submit video material of your child as their guardian. We will also use your and your child's information to send you newsletters with information for the duration of the competition. Your information and the child's information will also processed for the purpose of sending out diplomas and gold ribbons after the competition and for us to know how much money we should donate to charity.

How long do we store the information?
We store the data we collect to invite you to the event for three months if you do not choose to register.
We store the data that we collect in connection with you registering for and participating in an event until the event is completed and any feedback has been obtained.
Any feedback is anonymised and stored in the form of compiled statistics.
The information we collect in connection with children's events is stored for 30 days after the event is completed.
If consent has been given for marketing in connection with registration for the event, your personal data will be stored for marketing purposes for 30 days after the event has ended.

Insurance advice
Purpose description
We process your personal data in order to provide you with advice regarding insurance products and to document this advice.
What information is processed and how?
When you request a quotation or wish to sign an agreement with us on insurance, we ask you for information such as your name, personal identity number, contact details and whether you are a sole trader in order to be able to give advice on which products best suit your needs and document this advice. We also ask about your current insurance situation and process relevant information from existing insurance agreements with us.
When giving advice on animal insurance, we also collect data about your animal or animals, such as date of birth, animal type, sex, breed and whether it is a pet or farm animal and/or is to be used for breeding.
After the advisory meeting, we document our advice on the products we recommend based on the information we have received from you.
In connection with this, we register your personal identity number, name, registered address and other contact details, such as telephone number and e-mail address, in our insurance system.

The processing of your data for advice on insurance services is necessary in order to comply with our legal obligations under the Swedish Insurance Distribution Act (2018:1219) and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's regulations on insurance distribution (FFFS 2018:10) as well as European Union (Insurance Distribution) Regulations 2018 and Central Bank of Ireland's General Good Rules arising from the Directive (EU) 2016/97 on Insurance Distribution (2023)

Managing complaints
Purpose description
We process your personal data in order to manage your complaints against us, to compile documentation for improvements and to report statistics to authorities.
What information is processed and how?
If you submit a complaint about Agria – either directly to us or, if you are a private individual, via the Swedish Consumer Complaints Board (ARN) or another authority for example Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).– we process your personal identity number, name, contact details, the information you provided in the complaint, what your complaint relates to, the date of the complaint and information about the services concerned. We create a complaint case in our case management system where we make notes and categorize the case. We also process information about our response to you and the outcome of the complaint.
In the event that you contact us by phone or chat, we will verify your identity through e-identification if this is required for us to be able to process the case.
Information about all complaints is then compiled into statistics that we use to analyse and improve our products and services, and because we are required by law to report this to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
We may also process information about you and your complaint in connection with committee proceedings and court hearings.

When we follow up the effect of our marketing activities, we produce statistics on how many recipients have requested a quote or entered into an agreement as a result of a mailing or contact by telephone. Purpose description
We process your personal data in order to calculate premiums, assess risks and offer you animal insurance as well as communicate with you.
What information is processed and how?
Prior to your choosing insurance, we may offer you insurance advice.
When you apply for insurance or request a quote, we register you in our insurance system as a potential customer in order to know who you are and to be able to communicate with you about the insurance or the quote. We register your personal identity number, name, registered address and other contact details, such as telephone number and e-mail address, and assign you a temporary customer number.
If you want to insure your animal or animals, we process information about animals such as date of birth, name, breed, sex, animal species, registration number, ID number, registration certificate for pedigree and the animal's area of use as breeding, companionship or competition. If you state that your animal or animals have been treated for injury or illness in the past, we may retrieve information such as medical records from clinics/veterinarians where the treatment took place.
In some cases, a veterinarian or surveyor will need to inspect your animal(s) so that we can get more information and be able to give you a quotation.
To determine the premium you should pay, we compare your data with statistics on the probability and cost (risk) of a claim.
You can receive a discount on your premium for some of our pet insurance policies if you or someone else in your household has other agreements with us at Länsförsäkringar or if you are a member of an association, such as a kennel club, with which we have an agreement. For this reason, we process information about the household's other agreements and, if applicable, membership in an association when calculating your premium. For the discount linked to membership in associations, we collect information about membership from the associations we have agreements with.

In order to be able to convey electronic messages and other digital items to you, we use a data processor for the use of the processor's digital mailbox.
