Optional Extras
Death or loss from theft or straying
We will refund your Pet's purchase price up to €2000 should they die as a result of an illness or injury, or if they are lost or stolen.
Holiday Cancellation & Boarding Fees
Up to €2000 to cancel or return from a holiday if your pet requires emergency, lifesaving treatment. Up to €2000 towards the cost of kennelling fees, if you need to go into hospital.
Breeding Risks Cover
Up to €2,000 towards death as a result of complications of pregnancy or giving birth and up to €1,000 towards fertility examinations and treatment.
Overseas travel cover
Including up to €1,000 quarantine kennel costs, €500 emergency expenses, and €250 towards replacing a pet passport.
How do I apply for a certificate of exemption for my XL Bully?
Owners must apply to their local authority.
The completed form should be sent by post or email to the relevant local authority.
The Local Authority processes the application and sends either:

A Certificate of Exemption,

A Letter of Refusal

Request for further information should the application be missing any relevant information.
No fee is charged for a Certificate of Exemption.
