What you’ll need to make a Pet insurance claim

Providing all the relevant information could speed up the processing of your claim.

    Itemised invoice from your Vet

    The corresponding clinical history from your Vet for your claim

    Additional Information

    If you are claiming for the first time, we may require some additional details about your pet and clinical history from any veterinary practice you have attended.

    Pre-Authorisation

    If your pet needs an MRI or a CT scan, you will need to have these treatments pre-authorised.

What you can’t claim for

  • Pre-existing conditions. This is any sign of illness, injury, or behavioural issue that began before your policy started.

    Conditions that began or showed symptoms before your policy started are considered pre-existing. Conditions that arise after your policy exclusion period ends are covered as long as the policy remains active.

  • The cost of routine or preventative horse care, such as vaccinations and check-ups.
